SPORTS
A human activity involving physical exertion and skill as the primary focus of the activity, with elements of competition where rules and patterns of behaviour governing the activity exist formally through organisations and is generally recognised as a sport.
A baseballgame is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of nine players, where teams take turns batting and fielding. The goal of the batting team (offense) is to hit the ball, run around four bases (home plate, first, second, and third base), and score runs. The fielding team (defense) tries to prevent the batting team from scoring by fielding the ball and getting the runners out.
Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit a ball into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible.
Hockey is a term used to denote a family of various types of both summer and winter team sports which originated on either an outdoor field, sheet of ice, or dry floor such as in a gymnasium. While these sports vary in specific rules, numbers of players, apparel, and playing surface, they share broad characteristics of two opposing teams using sticks to propel a ball or disk into a goal.
